Science Beakers

  1. If you talk or make a willing (controllable) noise, you’re out.
  2. If you hold the ball for more than 1 second, you’re out.
  3. If you throw it too hard, you’re out.
  4. If you jump, you’re out.
  5. If you throw it overhand, you’re out. (Except for the Captain)
  6. If you drop the ball, you’re out.
  7. If you throw it too high or too low, you’re out.
  8. If you it hits the ceiling, you’re out.
  9. If you throw the ball back to the same person who threw it to you, you’re out.
  10. If you hit the floor in an attempt to catch the ball you are out, and you are also out for the next round (this action is dangerous and could cause bodily injury)
  11. Once you are called out and you argue with the Captain, you are still out, but now you are also out for the net round as well.
  12. Once you are out you need to sit down.
  13. If you talk or make noise while you are out, you will also be out for the next game.

The Captain is the person who is in charge of the game, this person is the referee, although he/she can still play with everyone else.  The rules do not apply to the Captain until the end of the game.

Once it gets down to 3 people, the Captain and two others, you can throw the ball back and forth to whomever, rule # 9 no longer applies.  You may also throw the ball overhand, rule # 5 no longer applies.

Once it gets down to 2 people, the Captain and one other, they will use both balls and throw them back and forth.  At this point, all rules apply to both persons except rules # 5 and # 9.  Whoever wins this round is the Captain for the next game.
